Why everybody thinks it's a Billy's decision is beyond me. That's probably the best way they found to make it work this time, as everybody is busy with their family and side projects.

no progress, still have 22 or 23 songs, was only able to cut one, then wrote another two, dug up an old riff, this album is never coming out, and i've got lots of pedalz

How is it so difficult for Bill, Jimmy and James to set aside time to write and record music they actually care about? It just sounds scattershot and laborious. Why would you need Adore drums when Jimmy is on the album?

Also, bear in mind when Bill talks about culling from a batch of 70 tracks... he thought Knights of Malta was a keeper.

Still, gonna keep an open mind...

i had my library on shuffle yesterday and found this janky voice memo thing from a few years ago. it's me and a bassist jamming - i'm on a quiet kit with L80s, pretending to know how to play a swing beat. it's like 4 minutes and i think i enjoyed it more than all of SAOSB. drums had more life than JCs on that record
