Default Effect used in Cherry

I thought that the same effect was being used on Bones by Radiohead, but it just turns out that Johnny is changing the rate of his tremolo by hand.

My question is, what model of effect pedal does this automatically, like Billy describes about Cherry? Alternatively, does anyone know of a tremolo pedal that can have its rate modulated by a foot pedal, like a volume or a wah pedal?

Soniclovenoize, I'm looking in your direction.

A lot of digital processors can do that. I know with something like a dhp-55 you can change not only the speed, but also the depth of vibrato and trem with an expression pedal.

my Dr.Scrientist Tremolessence lets me adjust the rate with an expression pedal
so does my Eventide Modfactor.

what you're looking for exactly is the Pigtronix Tremvelope
touch sensitive tremolo that that changes oscillation in ratio to signal input (the harder you hit it, the faster it goes)

Thanks T&T, the second part of that Tremvelope pedal was basically what I was looking for.

Ever notice how many effects pedal demonstration videos, they always play some form of bluesy dad rock?

I always thought the chorus was "You've got to see the idiot burn"

I like that better.

i bet you could patch this together from some of the moogerfooger pedals as well - since you have access to all the LFO inputs etc. and you could patch the guitar into the LFO as well as having it go through the signal chain.

that would give you some nutsy ring modulation. way too fast for tremolo. maybe with a 1/50 multiplier but sequencing half a dozen cp-251 would probably turn it to shit.

with max/msp & volta something could be programmed.

Surely this question doesn't crop up all that often. I've never seen it asked.
