Hi, from Japan.
This festival doesn't decide a theme and a genre.
The artist of various genres plays it every year.
Therefore you don't need to mind a lineup.
There are plural stages, and it is played at the same time.
It is played at the same time in two cities, and all players are replaced on the next day.
More various artists will be added in future.

Kinda odd that they'd be one of the headliners for such a big festival when they dont have a bassist or keyboard player and Billys best idea is having open auditions online... Seems like something you'd have figured out before scheduling something of this magnitude... Not to mention that Byrnes is 19 and never even played a show with the band before... Somehow i dont see the show going all that well!

It would be better if it wasn't at a festival but at a smaller and more intimate venue. Festivals are so crowded and chaotic it becomes a little ridiculous.

Normally, some of the musicians/bands also play solo shows besides the festival. If TSP will play also the solo shows, it must be organized by the same promoter with the festival (summer sonic). They updates the latest news frequently, so check it once in a while.

Maybe they'll do a one-off in Seoul or play the Jisan Festival here(which is the same weekend, if I'm not mistaken). Thing is, it's so fucking expensive to play here, they'd have to charge like $70-90 for the show just to make it worth it. And that July 2000 show from Seoul is so annoying to listen to because of the screaming people throughout the whole damn thing.

Too many consonants in that song. It'd be cringey.
