Default I don't hate FOL and G.L.O.W.

Am I the only one? Despite the lackluster lyrics, FOL has some nice, dare I say, shoegaze-y moments. And G.L.O.W. is kinda sexy.

I dunno, maybe I'm just drunk...

I actually haven't heard the full version of FOL. Only the part that was played in some commercial.

I am kind of fond of GLOW though. reminds me of Mellon Collie era stuff. Kind of sounds like the b-side God to me.

I actually don't mind FOL and GLOW, I think they're a hell of a lot better than anything off of Teargarden. And GLOW is basically a MCIS era b-side, there's an early version of it in Pastichio Medley

I downloaded FOL a little while ago. Both songs kind of sound like early Pumpkins. The vocals on FOL aren't as strong in general. The chorus is really nice but the verses don't really go anywhere.

FOL is one of the better SP 2.0 songs.

GLOW is not bad but the abysmally bad lyrics ruin the song and they (consciously? unconsciously ruin the song

I was tweaking the levels on FOL just now.

Not a bad song but reducing the gain does a lot for it.

Can you still download FOL somewhere? I think the page is down but maybe it was moved. Only song I ever deleted of theirs intentionally lol.

they are both ok. you can see FOL was originally written for ZG. both have decent riffs but average lyrics and show the same problem with billy singing aggressively since 07 in that his voice strains and isn't low enough in the mix to conceal it.

Cmon cmon cmon can you feel it? lol Yeah it's an amazing work of art, maybe one of the best songs of the 2000's. Changed my life, blew my mind! I play it on guitar hero and instantly achieve mind, body, soul integration.

I don't see why everybody bitches about those two songs. Its not that I think they're good per se but they're meant for a car commercial and a video game. What the fuck do you expect?

Yeah .... On its face I can see why fans would hate that. But that's two songs out of like 50+ songs since the 'reunion' ... Kinda negligible IMO

F.O.L is really underdeveloped and repetitive.
It sucks.

G.L.O.W honestly isn't half bad though and actually has some nice parts to it.

i haven't listened to anything past ZG more than a handful of times. i honestly can barely remember how either of these songs go. i don't know that i thought they were horrible, just really uninteresting. i didnt have as adverse of a reaction to these 2 as i had to WWMM...
