I don’t know if “underrated” is the right word, because I think most people know that Matt Walker is a good drummer.... but it’s always fascinated me how quickly that guy got plugged in, learned a million songs, learned all of Billy’s idiosyncratic changes and tendencies during songs, and completely kept that band sounding just as well-oiled sounding as they were before Jimmy was fired.

The band’s live ability when it came to just playing their respective instruments from 1995 to late 1998 was almost flawless.
