I haven't had a laksa here yet. They're like $5 and it freaks me out to think that they might put bad seafood in it. THere's nothing I like less than bad seafood.  |

I went out child free for the first time since coming to Singapore. To meet another mum for dessert. I had a matcha chiffon cake with white chocolate ganache and lavender early grey tea. We talked for two hours straight so it was nice. Not awkward, thankfully. But no laksa.
. I wore makeup 💄. My husband said "you sure know how to dress up nice for other ladies" and took photos of me while I protested |

You wanna know about married people stuff?
I came home at 11:30pm and my eight year old was still awake, because instead of putting him to bed at 8:30, my husband decided to watch Deep Impact with the kids until 10:30. So the eight year old was totally wired, and crying when I came home, because he couldn't sleep from fear the world would end, and when he came out to cry to my husband, he found my husband asleep on the couch. He woke him up, and my husband made various confused murmurings before going back to sleep, which terrified the eight year old even more. I expressed to my husband that he had done a shitty job of parenting the children and it sucked to come home and have to deal with it, and he patted my knee and said "You'll get over it" that's marriage, folks. I told him I was going to take the credit card and buy airfares to Sydney and take the kids for a holiday and leave him behind and "he'd get over it" and he looked kinda hurt. well, fuck him. N.B. I will not be fucking him for a while |
