Mission Bay area?

I have a friend there on work, and as he says:
"Found a bong shop and thought they might have some there on the DL but the fucking butt-hole wouldnt even let me say "Bong" had to say "water pipe". what a Shmuck"

He's going to LA on Wednesday, but I got some good friends there to help him out.

Any San Diegoeans know the deal?

Buying weed in a city in which you don't know anyone is pretty hard. Especially when it's a country you're unfamiliar with, it can get kind of intimidating. Your friend might be fucked unless he's extroverted enough to "go to a college campus/bar and ask around." Maybe he could pretend to be visiting his grandma in a nursing home and score some off cancer patients.
