You're right about the community obsessively latching onto mediocre songs. It reminds me of "Make it happen". Everyone was always raving about it but it was just a boring, simplistic little pop song... The kinda song most people would skip if it it was on an official release.

I'd like "Burnt Orange Black" more if Corgan would work more on its lyrics and make it less repetitive. But he won't. Anyway, Kirilenko avatar dude, what are your thoughts about, let's say, "The Dream Machine", "Lonely Is The Name" & "As Rome Burns"?

The Dream Machine and As Rome Burns both seemed like they had potential, but the melodies just didn't do anything for me. Nothing surprising or interesting enough to warrant going back to the tracks more than once.

As for Lonely Is the name, I think that tracks absolute garbage. Like most of Teargarden; it was just lazy and uninspired.

Burnt Orange: I like the verses, but the chorus sounds really awkward.

Burnt Orange Black sounds pretty damn good. Best thing I've heard from Billy in awhile but it could be about a full minute shorter.

And a hefty FUCK YOU to Fuzzy Make it Happen is one of maybe 2 or 3 solo Corgan songs on par with SP

I get tired of that same "Thats the way my love is drum beat" that Byrne would always play. SP3 aped the beat for so many different songs.. It sorta ruins Make it happen for me.
