I found my place on Craigslist. And actually stumbled across quite a few good places. But it might be a timing issue. This was for June. I've been just kinda skimming through for places in the same area because a friend needs to find one for October and I haven't been able to find anything.

I got two jobs through craigslist. The first one turned out to be a sketchy group of "sports photographers" that basically went to soccer tournaments and pleaded with coaches to let us take pictures of their team. It was overnight and they drove us up to VA Beach and skipped out on paying the bill they owed the tournament organizer. Also they threatened to leave behind one of the people that came along because she stopped working at a certain point. This was by far one of the most unpleasant job experiences. I collected my check and never returned their calls after that.

The second one turned out to be pretty well paying job editing real estate videos. However, the couple (small business ran by a married couple) were insufferable. I managed to stay for the money for about 5 or 6 months. After that I got a real job with people that weren't fucking awful.
