Default Cabbage is selling all his Pumpkins stuff

It's finally time to get rid of my Smashing Pumpkins memorabilia. Tons of vinyl, posters and shirts will be up on eBay during the summer. http://www.ebay.com/usr/armygrl1013

nah it's time. Just about all of it was bought when it was released so I haven't spent that much. I. still have never owned a record player. A few of the records have been played only one time at various friends houses. Most of it was never opened.

Would love to snatch up that copy of Machina. It should bring a touch over $100. I sold a copy a while back that had a mean skip in it and always wanted to replace it for a reasonable price.

Missed a copy from a local shop recently because they started putting records on hold via Instagram, something I'm strongly against.

A lot of those Siamese-era singles will probably have to be relisted at a lower price. Would be surprised to see them receive bids at those prices. If they do, good for you.

Not to speak for cabbage but I originally sold the SP vinyl I had because I was too embarrassed to have it in my collection. Not for other people, but I just didn't like looking at it and never played it.

I went through a 6 year period of never even thinking about the band. The re-sale profit margins were high but certainly not as high as they are now (although Adore has remained fairly consistent).

I would gladly buy a reissue copy of Siamese Dream but that cover is way too ugly.

The 1979 12" should be the biggest surprise seller in the lot, then maybe the Zwan singles in terms of starting bid vs final price.

I've always wondered how that German Zwan pressing actually sounds? Listening to Jesus/Mary on vinyl would be bliss

According to discogs it's the only pressing.

I'm sure it still clips to infinity but not as harshly. I love mary, settle down, and el sol so much.

yeah that's what I mean. bullshit that machina and zwan (and TFE I guess?) didn't have proper vinyl distribution.

they were distributed enough, regardless of where they were pressed. i remember local shops being flooded with vinyl copies of zwan and machina upon the time of release and then for a couple of years after. they were just smart and didn't press a million of them.

Yes but not much more vinyl. I have several Pisces Iscariot 12" that will go up after the one up now sells. Sadly I was never able to get the one that has the bonus 7". I think I have 8 original pressing Siamese Dream 12" in various colors, most are sealed though so not sure of the cover. The Machina 12" up now is open, I have another sealed one.

Then there's like...50? more posters including several 4 foot by 6 foot subway posters that were on my walls in high school and college.

I am interested in the subway posters. I have tried to buy them multiple times in the past and never seem to get them.

I have one of these I picked up in the UK in 1997 for like 3 pounds.

are those posters gish/siamese dream era, or just the pictures?

looks like something they may have made after mcis came out, and the band became really successful, and they needed more stuff to sell.
but i don't know.
