New cover: The Aeroplane Flies High Solo
http://personal.ayrix.net/~russell/solo.mp3
Here is the gear used on the clip: Fender 70s RI with Lace Sensors Marshall JMP-1 Mesa Strategy 500 Peavey cab with Celestion G12k-85 speakers MXR Phase 100 in the JMP-1's effects loop The other guy was using my Peavey XXX and his PRS CE22. This was recorded with a Shure SM-57 in the center of us into my Tascam 4 track. The other 2 guys have only heard the song once. There is no bass but it isn't lacking very much. That's me soloing. Let me know whatcha think. |

Good stuff.
I can play some Aeroplane on my Acoustic, but it doesn't sound right. |

Eh, JMP-1 is a waste of money. Not like you could tell what amp it was anyway through all that distortion and effect. Decent recording though.

It's not a waste if you use it with a good tube amp with a bass shift. http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/smile.gif It needs a good power section to sound at it's best. I'd much rather have the JMP-1 than the Triaxis. I'll make some better recordings of it soon to show you why. http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/wink.gif |

All it needs is a bass. Us bass players count, too, you know. http://www.netphoria.org/wwwboard/wink.gif

Cool. I'd like to hear them. I have some already but they sound way too "met4l" for me. I like the raw sound of the JMP-1 more than the clips that i downloaded. I guess i'm just more of a Marshall person.
