Am going to Vorst, looking forward to it!

Tim Vanhamel should be a decent opener, unlike puddy in paris, what the hell was that?

come spend some time in my town; you'll learn the proper dialect. One quick visit to the local wal-mart should do it.

Hmm... I'd make a bad cowgirl as i fall of horses. Though i do it rodeo style.

I'll be in Vorst. And London. And Frankfurt as well most likely. Nothing superglue can't fix . I'm gonna try and survive in the front even though this seems like a bad idea considering i fell on my back, but hey we only live once.

And Yes Tim Vanhamel is a decent opener. The venue is still far from selling out though.

Anyone else coming to Vorst?

7000 to 8000 depending on the setup of the stage. My guess is there will be about 5000, maybe 6000 tickets sold by next week, not too bad really. There will be space left to breathe . The standing area will be filled pretty fast though, and when it's full it's closed and you have to go to the balcony.

I think he was wearing a t-shirt with "Jeff From Above" at the London show.

Hopefully the show rocks!

Just got back from the Brussels show and it was a blast! Same setlist as London, but what a great show. The Billy rant in the middle was so... Billy, pretty silly but he tried fooling us by saying the show was over, hahaha. He talked about the Brussels gig that got canceled years ago (SP1 era) and the speech in Gent, during TFE.

It seems the crowd was pretty cool as well, i can't really tell i was in the front. The venue wasn't sold out, but they closed the upper part close to the stage so it looked full. I was told there were 6000 people. Not bad at all.

The show lasted till past 11:30, 10 minutes more than the O2 gig, i think because of US being even longer than before. Good vibes, Billy took the time to thank the audience.

Oh and Ginger was wearing some latex pants under her dress. Lol. Jeff was wearing the coolest suit.

It was fun and it was nice seeing familiar faces.

And i really like Billy doing "lips like sugar".

And i liked this show more than the 02 one.

I really like Billy's cover of lips like sugar, I think his vocals sound really good and I haven't been able to get it out of my head all day!

I like this idea of the band stationing themselves in a residency playing "a night for each era." It would be brilliant! Everyone could be satisfied! (However, I do wonder if Billy would get the not-so-pretty "reality check" about some later material when everything past "MCIS night" drew proportionately descreasing crowds?)

Yes, to me it's very much in Bill's "old vocal style" which he did typically employ, well...back in the 80's. It seems that, on the whole, his vocals have lost some of the weirder affectations that he's adopted on and off in recent years--yet, for the better--also kept some quality of consistency (which seemed wildly lacking starting about the Siamese Dream era.)

It is true!
When Texas is said to lie in the "southwestern" United States, it is a pretty good desriptor of some of the influences we have here. Basically, "rednecks" are most often associated with the Southern states, and "cowboys" are associated with the Western states. Here, we have both. They are actually two different regional "cultures" which do not necessarily overlap--not even in the same social circles. If you're truly curious you could ask me the difference, but perhaps you can draw certain conclusions about what these are based on your own knowledge of certain well known stereotypes that are apparently known well enough in the rest of the world. (My guess, though, is that some of the only "true" working cowboys still left in the US reside in states like Montana.)

Me too. I love the bit where he says sugar kisses and brings the end of kisses down a few notes so it's kinda harmonized with ginger. This isn't in the original.

I love the little touches the pumpkins put on other peoples songs thta seem to improve them 10 fold.
