Ha, I tried buying tickets tonight and they're sold out. I am not trying to buy from re sellers or stub hub or something. If anyone here actually is attending and has an extra ticket, hit me up, I guess.

im contemplating sunfest I GUESS but i really feel like i'll regret it. If turdlion wants to go I might do it just to meet up with him. It should be within like 10 minutes of where he lives, max.

Apparently it was sold out by March 25th. It would be kinda sad if they couldn't sell out a 2000 seats venue.

Well, it's Melbourne, Florida. There are probably less than 2000 people in that town that are not very old and not a crack head.

If this VIP thingy is run like last year, "meet & greet" is hardly the right title for it anyway.

That's funny.. I was just watching a few of those on YouTube. I'm hoping for the festival shows they will rock it a little more. Maybe sub some songs with tarantula, eg, hell ode to no one would be badass. Did he scream any during us? Thanks for the setlist by the way. Gonna get one tomorrow night too?

All setlists of the current tour will end up here, although not in real time like yesterday, since I usually sleep at 4 am

I'm most interested in any United States footage from yesterday, since they apparently played a different version/new arrangement, but I haven't found anything yet.

Do you think the festival setlists will be quite different?

Compass: How do you come up with set lists for a show?

B.C.: That’s another sort of changing thing. In the beginning, we had no set list. And then it kinda got to, “Well, these songs go better here and these songs go better here.” These days, it’s very much that we play the same set every night. The thing we found with the modern audience is there just isn’t the patience anymore for the —let’s call it —jamming out. Where shows used to be more random and anything can happen, I look at it as I’ve got a very short window of time to make a fan and keep a fan. It’s
Compass: Is it safe to say you play the old school hits like “Today” and “1979”?

B.C.: No. It’s not. In fact, in this current set list, we’re not playing either song. It depends. Sometimes for festival shows we’ll play those songs, but for the set that we have for solo shows we’re not playing those songs. I don’t look at it like I have to play these songs to get people to come. I think they come if they believe in what we’re doing.

So, who knows with Billy, no idea what the festival setlist will look like, maybe similar to the recent ones (SXSW Austin and Cumbre Tajin Veracruz), maybe different.

I for one was surprised what they played last night, I think it's a really good setlist. Personally I don't care much anymore which songs I'll hear live, it always sounds better if they feel comfortable and not "forced" to play a certain song. Although I'm still waiting for Hello Kitty Kat, but that won't happen. And Blank Page.

Yeah I had read on Facebook last week where corgan said they were playing an "Oceania suite" in the middle of their setlist. So that didn't surprise me. But I'm sure the festival shows will be more hit heavy and not near as long. Do you know why the hell he doesn't play his own signature guitar anymore? I bought one last month and ill be damned of the ones he had been using the past year have a '57 reissue neck instead if the 70s neck.

Actually, there was something on his sig guitar.. somewhere. Can't remember, it should be in the general SP forum, and some of the fetishists there certainly know about it.
