The 2016 National Basketbal Association thread

Figured I'd make an official discussion and not just have it land in the thread where I made those erratic statements.

Anyhow the 2016 season is underway in a big way and the story lines are already writing themselves. The parity around the league seems improved as some of the waning teams have retooled - most notably the Knicks- how about that?! Noah and Rose together again playing with Anthony. Should be a fun team to watch.

And wuddabout the Clippers? hot-damn have they looked good. Is it sustainable though? Time will tell.

i think the NBA has really suffered in the last 5 years or so.
many mythical players retiring, commissioner taking any edge off and making the play much softer, any display of emotion or competitiveness is a technical foul, and perhaps worst of all - Curryzation has led to all teams relentlessly shooting three's and the game just suffers for it.

never thought i'd be the guy who says this as i've always been more of a fan of agile guard play than brute power game, but it just makes the games feel like a joke
