I don't know much about hockey from a technical standpoint, but I'll try to ramble about it anyway.

Pens are off to an uninspiring 1-2 start. Crosby has made a couple of mindblowing plays with nothing really to show for them, but overall he doesn't seem as present as he's going to need to be.

Fleury looked very suspect in his first two outings. I'm hoping it's just rust or something, because if he plays anything like he did in the last 3 minutes against Montreal (or, last year against Montreal for that matter), they'll be making an even earlier playoff exit.

Also, the PP looks pretty bad. Gonchar is really missed there, I think.

It sort of sucks having to watch all the games on crappy internet streams, but it's better than nothin'.

i hear yah about the internet streams - i had hd center ice package last year for all the games, and probably watched 78 out of 82 ranger games.

rangers are going to have to sure up on defense, or its going to be another inconsistent, aggravating year of hockey for me.

The Stars are off to a surprising start, but I don't anticipate that going anywhere.

Stars play the Red Wings this Thursday for the home opener. I hope Modano gets a hat trick, just to throw it in Nieuwendyk's stupid face. Fuck that motherfucker.

Mo in a Red Wings jersey is just wrong.
