I found my CD with it today. I must have listened to that song a million times before the album came out, and I was so disappointed when I heard how they changed it.

This was another lame post.

I don't remember there being that big a difference between versions. I stopped listening to the internet leak as soon as I brought it. If I have a chance I will give the leaked version a a listen again.

I didn't hear that much of a difference either and I still like Rated R much better.

omg i just popped in the SFTD demos.

i really like the way some of these tunes sounded before the album too.

The original version has Mark Lanegan singing the verses and Josh just comes in on the chorus as back up.

The verse melody is entirely different. Are you listening to the SFTD demos? Sorry if I did not explain myself very well.

I have never heard the demos! I thought you were speaking of the original mix of the album that leaked. Are the demos floating around online anywhere?

I don't know, I haven't heard the demos. I am talking about a live version soundboard from 2001. I don't know where you can find it. I have it on CD back at home and I could make an mp3 of it and send it to you when I go back, if you can't find it.
