Around 10am and with a gift card.

It's on the right side, but close to the aisle. Some pretty good seats were showing up beforehand as well.

And thanks, guys!

I'm staying at the Congress Hotel. They have the cheapest rooms I've come across, low 100's, and they're... believe it or not... just around the corner from the Auditorium. You can take the train from Midway to just outside the hotel and there's plenty to do and see in the area.

I was going to suggest the Congress Hotel to y'all as well. Always seems to be the hotel of choice for out of town concertgoers. There is a bar in the lobby, for those interested, and the location is perfect, especially for the Auditorium shows (less than a block). The Chicago theatre is about 7 blocks north -- an easy walk or quick train ride.

good to know. I'm gonna hang out outside there and jump you for your ticket

But thats a pretty nice place. I go to school at the college right across the street from it and have had family stay there before, no complaints.

And yes, a bar there is nice too.
