some people believe that chewbakka was an annoying character because of his voice. they don't know the full backstory. Chewbakka spoke like an ordinary man until he one day signed up with han-solo. being the dependable individual he is, he stayed by hans side all the time or working. this obviously lead to problems getting laid, which meant that he had to vent his frustration by sounding like a boy with downs syndrome who just hit puberty.
