I like Foxboro Hot Tubs but I dunno, over the course of just that one album, it wears thin.

Is stuff like Times New Viking considered garage rock? If so, they're fine but in small doses. I am more of a fan of their softer cousin, garage pop like Crocodiles, Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls, a thousand bands on bandcamp, etc.

But usually if I'm going to listen to any Green Day side project, I listen to Pinhead Gunpowder.
Pinhead Gunpowder has some great songs. I actually thought some of the material from the band Green day made with guys from Devo "the Network" was pretty good.

I have to admit I never gave The Network a serious listen. I mostly just went through and sampled whatever was in the iTunes store.

I've been really into Pinhead Gunpowder's Goodbye Ellston Avenue lately. I think it's my favorite of their albums.
