imagine if you had to! i'm sure you didn't grow hair all over your face like this guy:



but whatever you grew must have bothered you enough to get laser hair removal. have you done that yet? i've never known anyone to do it and i'm super curious and it's the only cosmetic "surgery" i would actually go through with.

i hated my body hair growing up and it was part of the reason i covered up so much as kid. i wouldn't say i'm more confident about it now, but maybe more indignant. like, i'm not going to NOT wear this dress or swim-suit i like to spare anyone from looking at me. i don't want to give anyone that power over my body image.

plus it just isn't a huge problem in the grand scheme of things. would be cool to be hairless except for my head and eyebrows, though.

Once I almost lost him in the airport in Singapore. We were boarding, in the gate when I realized that I had left him somewhere in the terminal. I went back and rescued him. I was five. It was pretty intense.

fun in PDX today! I snuck into the stadium and watched the Thorns practice for about an hour. Then I got to talking to someone working at the staidum and they opened the Team Store so I could buy a hat! WTF! So cool. Rose City Till I Die!

Heading back in an hour to watch the Timbers play Colorado.

I got the idea to take multiple exposures of the eclipse on a roll of film, and then use that film to take further exposures of other things, so that they would have eclipse patterns overlayed on them.

Unfortunately, with one roll, I fucked up because I thought I had wound it all the way when I did not, and then I opened the camera's back. With the other roll, I accidentally wound it back into the cassette all the way, so that I couldn't use it again.

When it comes to manual settings on automatic cameras, the more manageable option might be to toy with aperture and leave your exposure times to technology. That way, you can control depth of field to whatever artistic end and still ensure a correctly-exposed result.

That's a good idea. I started doing that the other day. We'll see how those turn out.

Fig was totally cool with the 15 min car ride home and coming back to her old stomping grounds. Nougat is a little perturbed and running around hissing and swatting (but eating and using the box) so whatever she'll live. Better than wasps stinging them

Yeah idk. She gets a little under a can of food a day and no dry food. Like a regular can size. Nougat gets fed a little more and she's thin and smol. I should probably take her to the vet about it but they didn't bring it up at her diarrhea appointment last. I have read that this happens after spaying, esp if she had a litter which is her to a T.

Yeah I know you would never overfeed. I remember how patient you were with Katy. Some cats must just be big, I reckon. My friend's cat Sox (I used to call her Sock) was massive, and her family adored cats so didn't overfeed, either. She was just a big cat. Real solid. Really heavy to pick up.

Another friend's cat, Woody, was also massive. They lived semi rural and he used to catch rabbits. Massive guy. Maybe it's the climate that sets it off.

Katy lost weight easily over the course of a few months! Just walking and normal portions. She was definitely being overfed before
