That said, i personally don't care what the general consensus on tool fans is, both lateralus and aenima are superb. But not heavy, really, by any means.

no worries mate. Fellow detroiter eh? Did you see them when they did their mini tour to prepare for the Lateralus tour. I saw them at the State Theatre (the fillmore now). Awesome show. They debuted the Schism video for us there.

no. i tried to get tix unsuccessfully. but i've seen them at cobo, the palace and DTE.
p.s. i hate that they changed the name of the state theatre. it's blasphemous.

yeah, i've moved on. it's not like i listen to zeppelin everyday either. but when i do hear it i love it. there's a lot of music i listened to 10 years ago when i hear it now i'm like wtf was i thinking.
