its a good album and generally under appreciated, but i dont think its better than nevermind or in utero. but i really really love those latter two.

NO RECESS

i think blew is my favorite song off bleach. not just bleach, incesticide is also quality. i almost used "all the kids will eat it up if it's packaged properly" as my senior quote but then i thought that was too cynical. im a big fan of their less polished stuff and i dig bleach but if i said i liked it more than the other two id be kidding myself. keep in mind in utero is my favorite album ever.

Some of the songs on Bleach almost seem MORE complicated to me than the stuff that came out later. I think I like it better than Nevermind at this point. It has a more real sound to it. In Utero on the other hand, is a zillion times better than both. I mean, Tourette's is pure lyrical gold.

incesticide is my favourite nirvana album by far

the better songs the post bleach era produced but just the right amount of noise to make them sound more credible and less irritating

simply the opposite of that slick overproduction of nevermind and in utero

yes in utero. andy wallace fucked both of them up.

what are you talking about? the production had an influence on how much "noise" as in "noisy guitars" etc there was on those records. imo

I listened to one of those Nirvana albums and I liked it a lot but I think I would have liked it more if I had never heard the pixies first. I mean I realize that Nirvana/Pixies connection is really obvious and cliche at this point but I'm dumb when it comes to Nirvana so it was still interesting to me. I think it was In Utero. Hold on brb.

Yeah it was In Utero. Pretty good, I should check out Bleach.

What's the song they almost got kicked out of grunge for because everyone thought it ripped off mudhoney?

its the most raw of their LPs, it would be cool to start chronologically with them to see their development. nevermind is the most accessible.
