I don't know folks, I think this is better than it has any right to be. I was expecting it to be an abortion, but I actually dig it a little bit. I think I like the idea its going for better than the execution though. It is a pretty original take on the song, and the playing/singing is not too bad. But I think that the arrangement still needs a substantial amount of tweaking to make the whole song fit together. Overall, there's a solid groundwork for this to become a "good" cover. I'm not sure its there yet though.

I think if Billy himself did an acoustic take, it might be cool. What I mean by that is that an acoustic take could be tight, but only if the right person did it. I like the potential this one has, though.

This is cool. Fix those lead vocal quirks in the first part and it's a hit!

And see if you can get a grinding bassy sound in there at parts, like tune down an acoustic's low E or something and go nuts
