Were they a bigger band in '92 (pre-SD) than they are now?

I prefer the band that was able to be tense and professional in the same show. MCIS, Arising and even Resume the Pose to name 3 tours.

I don't really like listening to the Gish tour because of the 'edge'. It's just wild and crazy, not in a good way.
