One of the reasons I haven't thought very hard about moving and have never really had much of a response when people ask me if I'd like to move cities one day is that I've never really imagined that I'd be happy anywhere.

I don't like my city very much, but moving my shit hundreds of kilometers away to live in another one sounds like too much effort and money. Easier to just stay where I am.

It was a great place to be a teen/early 20s, definitely no shortage of things to do or people to meet, no matter what you are into

I think location does affect your level of happiness, if you're very out of sync with local culture or suddenly switch to somewhere completely unlike everywhere else you've lived
