Default Kanye, Drake, and Kid Cudi

Kanye had a big influence on Drake and Kid Cudi. It's somewhat fair to say that he was responsible for a lot of their success. That being said I don't think Drake has it in him to make a Yeezus type album. He cares too much what people think about him. He's going to continue to play it fairly safe. Kid Cudi on the other hand isn't afraid to make music that isn't accessible. I could see him making something on the same level as Yeezus.

Yeah Drake is trash.

Also don't understand how Drake has been influenced by Kanye.

You can't hear the 808s and Heartbreak sound in Drake's music? Jesus it even says on the wikipedia for 808s "Drake was part of the wave of rappers whose music was shaped by the album."

no way that two guys that were young when kanye broke out 10 years ago would be influenced by him, that's crazy talk

Drake is interesting to me in that he's emotive and confessional but also comes off as very shallow and superficial at times. It's like he has two contrasting personas or sides to him. I like individual songs from his last two albums. I'm not ashamed to say that he can be alright at times.

I think Kid Cudi has Kanye beat in overall weirdness. Did you hear Man on the Moon 2? He goes in some really strange dark places. His latest one Indicud has some traces of industrial music just like Yeezus.
