Damn ok I had no idea this OTR band had such a deep career. I guess I assumed they were not as well known as the aforementioned Whigs. And yes, 1965 is an amazingly solid, listenable rock and roll album. My favorite from them.

Bloodflowers is good every once in a while.

I actually like the self-titled. Most people said it was a too-long drag, but I went full ham on it, added the B-sides, and reorganized the whole fucking thing into a double album. I don't listen to it any other way now. 4:13 Dream, that's the zzzzz right there imo. Can't even listen to that one.

Anyway. Alice In Chains: Self-titled/tripod. Been on a huge AIC kick lately.

Tripod is a really great, under-rated album. So dark and sinister at times.

Elph doesn't understand the nuance of modern day Cure because he's just married to this idea of only liking what's cool to like, so don't waste your breath.

Didn't he say it was a painting his dead friend made?

Come on, Took. You're better than that. Your mom is always talking about what a nice young boy you are.

Been listening to lots of 60's psychedelic pop recently, The Moon - Without Earth over and over again

It's a beautiful, Zombies-esque, and highly underrated little album that's just under half an hour

This song in particular is my favourite and reminds me of Bowie's Moonage Daydream

If I had to compile a list of my top ten favorite songs off all-time, this would be pretty high up on the list.

Well, I think it's worth listening to, but your mileage may vary.
They are not super heavy or anything. The vocals are mostly melodic with church music style passages (the singer is like an evil pope).

Turn away if you dislike theatrical acts, I suppose.

If you take the first I away and replace it with BO you get BORIS (heavy rocks!)

You all should listen to BORIS.

i mean boris & ghost are basically on the same level to me, i mean its good and go see them live when you can but its not fuckin gamechanging like ISIS where every album should be listened to about 20 times and obsessed over
