We cooked the Korean bao tonight. We're huge baozi and gochujang fans so it went over well. So far the blue apron experience is overall positive. It seems pricy if you don't have a coupon

i've been chillin' with myself listening to music and making foods in the kitchen since 8 PM (it's 11:04 now). i made granola for the next few weeks, pickles that won't be ready for another week, and dinner for tonight (which i am still doing). plus i worked on some nice moves.

check it:
before-
after-

the molasses and cinnamon makes it look burnt

peppercorn, dill, red pepp flakes, sugar, salt, dill, caraway seeds. just spicy dill. the jar on the left is blue so my picks looks purple.

i also made this recipe:

and mine looks like this. how can you mess up spinach and garbanzo beans? :

i just cooked a piece of thin cut beef to put on top 'cause i wanted to, which is also why i left my keys up on the table

i made a rice and bean bake with broccoli for lunch.

Salmon, baby potatoes, peas and carrots for dinner.

So boring, but you know. I'm sick of cooking and I had 4 hours and 50 minutes of sleep last night so this is where I'm at right now.

made some pasta + sauce tonite

normal sauce recipe is sauté onions, add spices, add tomatoes, simmer. inherited from my mom who learned it from some italian guy who she shared an apartment with in college

added some pepperoncini peppers and brine to the sauce which turned out amazing. v v spicy

i believe they were rotini. brine was the stuff in the jar with the peppers...mostly vinegar and salt i think

Tonight I tried quinoa with pan roasted chickpeas, and oven roasted summer squash and mini sweet peppers. Have another plan for next time. Wish the whole dish a bit wetter.

Ilp, check out howjendoesit for household stuff. Her sponsored videos are trash but her food and cleaning vids are good.

this terrified me until I rounded beer three and figured what are the odds that the oil hits me in the eyes

I bought all the ingredients to make blinis but forgot to buy creme fraiche for the topping.

Mistakes were made.

You can make it easily with heavy whipping cream left on a counter over night.
