Anyone else find the band's silence on the recent civil rights abuses a bit weird?

i mean it doesn't matter matter

anything they say would just be a superficial platitude of course, but it's a bit weird seeing all the random people from high school i barely remember posting about it but nothing from georgian/iha/chamberlin

Weird? Not really. Kinda par for course for Corgan. He's more interested in civil-rights abuses that aren't happening, like chemtrails and whatever.

As for the other members, they don't seem to have much of a social media presence at all and rarely even use their platforms to promote their own work, much less talk about any other issues.

It's best if WPC doesn't say anything. It's good that he's very carefully kept quiet.

On a good day, on his very best behavior, he'd attribute the current situation to "a wider spiritual awakening" that he's been talking about "for years" with "no credit from the media".

If anyone questioned this and asked about specific events that have triggered things he'd reply with something like "think BIGGER" or "BOTH sides are pawns in a game played by ELITISTS and GATEKEEPERS on a global scale" or "BLOCK OF THE NIGHT".
