Or do the Pumpkins sound really good on this tour?
I mean, listening to the YT videos of the show so far...everything sounds charged and emotional, Corgan's got some stage presence again and the band has that "atmosphere" that they haven't had since the Adore Tour. I liked the Z tour but it was just pure aggression. This tour really recalls that dreamy Pumpkins sound they've been sorely lacking. Quasar sounds filthy, but that performance of Tonight Tonight is SURPRISINGLY excellent. Even Byrne sounds good. Must say, I'm quite excited to see them in the US. They have quickly stepped up their game. I mean listen to the Pumpkins on the last two tours and now. They've really stepped it up. Watching their vids, it's like watching a big rock band again. |

I feel pretty much the same. I thought I'll give it a try, and went to the Perth show. I ended up going to all 4 Australian gigs, and might even go to some upcoming shows.
