Did anybody listen to the song that Frozen is claimed to have plagiarized?

well, if it's an expression nobody uses, we could just make up a different one.

Regardless of the number of aces in the deck, when you no longer have any aces, you have no more aces to play.

I've never heard anyone say "I've no more ace to play".

I can't imagine being on the rung below writing a bad song, where you can only steal a bad song from someone else and pretend it's yours.

Home Alone is pretty heavy on the Christmas. additionally, it will dose you up on saddo nostalgia, and there are even extra saddo bonus points to be earned if you reflect on how unfortunate McCauly Caulkin's life have become since the shooting of that very movie.

oh yeah and there's also Jingle All The Way, which was done during the peak of Arnold Schrwarzenegger's milky comedy phase and is a piece of shit on every possible account, but might possibly still be entertaining, considering it lets you watch a fully grown bodybuilder with a thick accent chase an action figure he wants to buy for his son.

I love trading places, but the movie gets weird at the end with the gorilla stuff

The kids watched Die Hard with my husband this evening. The 12 year old told me he thought it was boring but he kept watching it. The 9 year couldn't follow what was going on half the time but he loved the guns and explosions and fighting. I watched from the kitchen because I had to make dinner, but I sat to watch the end. It was nice to see Alan Rickman.

Thanks Labelle

Watched so far

With kids
Die Hard
Surviving Christmas

Without kids
Bad Santa

Surviving Christmas was a pretty good family movie. Depending on the values and viewing habits of your family I guess.

My 9 year old first watched Rick and Morty when he was 8, so most stuff seems tame to him now.

I just didn't think it was time for him to hear stuff like "you're not gonna shit right for a week" just yet.

If you grew up loving Muppets, and fuck you a little bit if you didn't, "Muppets Family Christmas" I guess is a tv special and not technically a movie, but it's what puts me in a holiday spirit every year and for my money beats out "Muppets Christmas Carol"

I think the full thing is on Youtube; you can't get the whole thing any other way, but I highly highly recommend it

Watched this last night with the gf. Too much fuckery with the Fraggles and Sesame Street gang, but otherwise a good time. I highly recommend everyone watch the version with commercials included.
