this article really scared me, because I realized I have no idea what would happen if I had a miscarriage in some US state.
god forbid I wouldn't be able to think straight and forget to put that bloody mess in some tupperware and take it with me to the next ER.
and then what?

I thought by now I have an idea about the basic things; what is legal where and what I should do when xy happens. but I was clearly wrong to feel "informed enough."

There is no entity more racist than the Democratic legislature in California with their gerrymandering over the last few decades. It's the main reason they've run over this state over that time.

I would have some modicum of political respect for you if you start jumping on O'malley's bandwagon and recognize at least some on the Dem side see the need for a different plan than the anointed Royal nonsense since its falling apart (no matter how hard they try and how many stooges like you they have).

I'm almost glad I'm not allowed to vote here.
I couldn't vote rep - I still have principles. But I couldn't vote for Hillary, either. This two party system doesn't go into my head, two choices are not enough.

I don't undestand this outcry over email accounts, though. Like there are a ton of actually important things you can throw at Hillary - why take this one?

katy lied is a fascist who gave millions of negative rep points to those who didn't like him, in a matter of seconds

Why couldn't you vote for Hillary

If you care at all about that indiana feticide charge story you should understand that you would need to vote for a democrat.

you mean the end justifies the means?

we currently have a democrat I would have voted for (at least the first time.) So how exactly had that an impact on laws like this one?

Dems do not have control over California districting anymore. And that's a good thing.

something tells me you're one of the idiots that subscribes to the ridiculous idea of breaking California up into 7 different states.

In the US there are many factions within the two Parties. If you don't participate in party politics, specifically on a local and state level as well as during primaries you miss that opportunity to vote for someone other than (in the case of presidential candidates) the party's choice for the general election.

multi party parliamentary systems also have drawbacks. you could vote your entire life for a minority party or candidate which NEVER gets any amount of power or has any decision making power because of it.

I get that, but again: how do you reason with someone who voted dems and is outraged over Indiana laws?

I would pay closer attention how exactly a two party system works if I had a chance to vote, for ANYTHING. As permanent resident I am only allowed to pay taxes...

They are state laws. So national elections have no bearing on them. But Obama nominated two Supreme Court justices (and has done other good and bad things). Had a republican made those nominations, the right to abortion would likely no longer exist (it has been gutted at the state level and the only hope of repairing that and stopping it from getting worse is to nominate non-conservative justices).

Again. Why wouldn't you vote for Clinton

thanks! that's the first explanation that doesn't go straight over my 7-parties-head.

If I could, I might turn in the last minute and vote for Hillary, like I always took the last chance to vote after all, even if I felt I couldn't justify the choice. "every vote counts, they vote so we have to vote something else to avoid a disaster!"

I was done with Hillary when she refused to sign the ban on landmines, and voted against restricting exports of cluster bombs. and then visited amputees in Laos posing for pictures.

Because those erased emails likely show her shenanigans in all sorts of affairs personal and public alike AND when those two crossed over -- like her brother getting a lucrative gold mining deal in Haiti, a country where Bill Clinton created a "foundation" (bank) to siphon funds off the top from all in the name of Humanitarianism.

Not to mention the underbelly of the "Arab Spring" brought to you by the State Department which she headed at the time.

So when she erases ALL OF THAT info from a home personal server and folks like you don't think its a big deal, you're doing your part to keep those criminals going one more day to eventually fuck you over, which they are doing daily anyway.

Thanks for contributing.

folks like me? folks who CANNOT VOTE in the US in the first place, and second would never vote that woman for anything?

I'm sure I'm doing my part to keep her going.... what exactly are YOU doing, besides losing your mind? You sure as hell are not working as a teacher.

I don't give a fuck which emails she erased - what she does in broad daylight is more than enough, I start with that instead of ASSUMING WHAT SHE COULD BE HIDING.

"those emails LIKELY blablabla" you never bother with things that are already out there, no, YOU have to assume and guess and spin your theories.
Next thing you tell me is the cabal elite told her to erase the evidence and really she has a Jewish Muslim uncle in Israel who eats babies for breakfast and waits until she can give out Jewish evil vaccination and kill millions of Americans, and then the cabal has won and rules the world.

You will NEVER find a presidential candidate that agrees with all of your political opinions/priorities. Voting against a candidate or NOT voting at all over one issue is silly. National candidates have to temper their positions to reach a wide swath of voters. This is an enormous country.

The worst are people who vote based on who they "like"

Like ppl who will say "Hillary is a bitch so I'll vote for the other guy ". Kind of like Dems who hated Al Gore and voted for an activist who had no chance of winning anything. Those shitstains are the absolute worst.

Let's send the Dems a message by putting a war mongering psychotic in the whitehouse because then they'll learn after two more right wingers end up on the supreme court.

I've been voting for 15 years, and that's not something that differs from country to country, so I am aware of that.

I neveR said there is just ONE issue where I'm not okay with Clinton. cluster bombs is one of many, and big enough on its own that I wouldn't trust that woman further than I can spit.

there are currently two democrats i would ever vote for
well one is technically an independent but you know
one of them isn't running and the other has no chance
so yeah i'm not voting for any of them

i'm actual socialist, the democrats are therefore all scum. i don't know why scotty is suddenly claiming to be a socialist, he wouldn't be voting for any clinton

I'm kind of upset with Liz for not running because I would like her voice to be in the debates even if she doesn't have a chance of winning
That's how the Pauls keep attracting disenfranchised angry white men to their libertarian bullshit
They know they won't win but you gotta build something
