me too, i have serious anxiety about cooking proteins in general. the level of "done-ness", the seasoning, all of it. i always opt to cook several sides and let someone else do the meat/fish/etc if possible.

i've been really into stewing fruit lately. apples, pears, peaches, plums. just gotta watch the sugar. i've lost like 6-7 pounds this month but that happens with moving. need to actually put some effort in to make healthy meals.

hi guys!

ok i just had the craziest thing happen to me.

i went to buy onions, cause i was gonna cook a chili, right? and you know when i always go to the store and start talking to the clerk and like, asking for the onoins, WHERE ARE THE ONIONS, JUST LEAD THEM TO ME PLEASE, CAN OUY JUST DO THAT SOLID FOR ME? and she's like "sir you are scaring me".

so i'm driving home in my car and i'm thinking like, man you know what, man you know what, man you know what, WHAT? turn DOWN THE RADIOOOOOO. it's ruining my ears and besides i'm thirsty.

so i agreed, i pulled over by the roadside and we found a small shack where we made ssweet love till the morning. i was definitely errect the entire way through except when i needed to. not disrespect to johnny lee miller or anything man, i'm just saying. i listen to stevie wonder too. i flip my beers as much as the next guy.

and then my friend said, "are you dreaming?", and then i woke up. oh lol no sorry actually that was a fart. no this is still reality. oh my fucking god. this is like the fourth time i arrived in this dimension within the past minute. we are all in horrendous trouble. so help us god.

Chicken and Tomato Stew with Caramelized Lemon

we made some and it was v good. the turmeric, garlic, honey, tomato, cinnamon combo was pleasantly surprisingly delicious.

how i like me onion on me burger depends on the burger. a classic burger with lettuce, tomato (no seeds), mustard, and cheese (or not) calls for raw onion, but that shit can't be too thick. if i've got bacon on my burger then i like blue cheese or bbq sauce and caramelized onion.

raw onion is also necessary in pico de gallo, guacamole, cous cous, taboulleh, and on tacos.

The spelling is y'all (you all). The spelling ya'll is a different contraction (ya will), as in "if ya'll build a fire, we can roast some marshmallows." The plural of this is "if y'all'll build a fire, we can roast some marshmallows."
