Also did you know the reason Appels + Oranjes is spelled that way? It was originally just "Apples and Oranges" but it was pointed out to Billy that there was a Pink Floyd song already with that title. So he changed it.

these titles are awesome. as an artist, bill's strength has always been that he is not reserved, not afraid to take risks and put himself all the way out there to express himself. as long as the music is good, I never question things like how pretentious song titles are

also most of his songs have one-word nonsense titles like "mayonaise" or "galopogos" which seems like he isn't trying very hard at all

truthfully i do not understand how "Behold! The Nightmare" is pretentious. i think thats a great title and even greater song. I think "Glass and the Ghost Children" or "Glissandra" are the most pretentious, because it seems as if he was really trying hard to sound cool.

i dont remember clearly, but i believe B!TNM was going by a different name during the pre-adore stuff (after they were playing it but before it got released - something like that) and everyone was like "NOOO he didnt put it on the album whats wrong with him bitch squawk" and i thought he was making it funny like behold! it really is on the album
