Default MCIS Demos Marquis in Spades question

SPFC's entry on Demos III says the following:

Quote:
All tracks except 9-11 also appear on MCIS Demos I (Marquis in Spades is a different take with different lyrics).
I've compared my version of Marquis from Demos I and Demos III and they sound exactly the same. Are one of my sources messed up, or did SPFC somehow think the two were different?

Are they differentiating between the acoustic one on the TAFH reissue and the electric one on the bootlegs?

That entry has been there for years, long before TAFH reissue. Unless whoever wrote the entry had a non-circulating version of the demos that included the acoustic Marquis, but that's starting to get into conspiracy theory territory.

Well I don't remember writing it but it was probably differentiating the demo lyrics to the officially released version.

Sorry, you must have me confused with that other Ballz who makes posts on SPFC's entry about the MCIS demos in Smashing Pumpkin-related threads.
