This album has seven tracks, correct? So, I've heard nearly half of them, and none of them have been great.

Probably won't be purchasing this release, either.

Also, I feel like I could easily write the next Corgan chorus. His lyrics are so bland these days.

"Come on and go
Yeah, yeah
Come on, don't be slow
No, no
Jump up and clap
Make sure you feel that sunshine
Come cash that dough
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah"

was KOM a leftover from TBK? is there a version with byrne's original drums?

I honestly don’t even know what Billy is going for with this one. Everything about this song is just weird and uncomfortable, right down to the title. Like what is this song even supposed to sound like? Weird out of place gospel vocals, ELO strings, a backwards guitar solo, a mid rangey somewhat dancey picked baseline. It just sounds like he took a bunch of random pieces of idiomatic styles and threw them all together without regard for whether they actually sound good. Then on top of that there’s his awkward vocals with lyrics that make no sense to anyone anywhere.

Like I literally don’t understand this song. Is he serious? Or is this like purposely bad?

I honestly think this might be Billy punking is. “Using myself as a battering ram” or “playing my public image off myself” or “letting people think I’ve lost my mind” to paraphrase some of his quotes. This is just so bad.

Well the guy who posted that initial review was certainly right about it being divisive.

Took a few listens but I’m loving it. This and Silvery are the best two songs I have heard from SP for a while. Definitely better then any teargarden song apart from maybe ‘song for a son’. In fact it remind me of that song a little.

I’m not on board with Solara though. That one hasn’t grown on me.

There is no way I'd normally go out of my way to listen to this type of music.

I'm with ya. I made my own Greatest SP2.0 Hits compilation of tracks that I can tolerate because I cannot listen to the full albums. Even after that I rarely go out of my way to listen to it lol.

this is pretty left field, I can dig it, not what I was expecting

biggest complaint is his vocals but you can just stamp that on everything SP2

I think it's actually produced well

I wonder if loud music and drugs have fucked Billy’s hearing. Like... does he hear how his tracks have been produced over the last 15 years compared to the first 15? Can he not tell the difference?

It would explain why he gets so antsy about it, like he can’t hear what the problem is.

The first 16 seconds of this are staggeringlg bad. Like... wow.

So this is a yet unlisted track on the Smashing Pumpkins YouTube site.
Hope they post the other tracks also there.
Saves me money for the Machina box set...

The best track of the three. But still only good enough for a free download.
