The Metro-DVD would have been most successful being released between 2001 and 2006.
With the renewed existence of the Smashing Pumpkins from 2007 on, Corgan may have lost interest to remind people that the band could have been remembered having ended legendary.

It's not just SP, I have zero interest in watching any band's concert on blu-ray at this point.

I think what people are likely willing themselves not to think about is that 2020 Billy would absolutely jack up his vocals super-high in the mix and, like, crop Melissa out of all the footage

Within, I'm gonna say, like five years of the breakup, I would have been eager to get this; now it's pretty irrelevant

It will be like the Star Wars special editions all over again with a CG Jeff inserted in.

And hire Jack Bates to re-record her parts.

Nothing in the past 19.1 years has made me want to dive into a shitty bootleg and taint away more than this post does... alas, I wait for a 4k disc because streaming is of the devil.

It'd be cool if it was dropped to a streaming service, but, like, they'd only get an offer from Crackle or whatever weird service is streaming Mad About You.

Bill will then make an announcement of an announcement about his new streaming service where the metro show will drop one day sure very soon sure it will definitely eventually drop plus other rarities and NWA wrestling.

how long until Bill comes up with some scheme to offer exclusive content through his own streaming service? I feel like this is actually a thing he will do eventually

there is 0 chance I would buy his streaming service cause you know it will be offline within a year of release.

I get that people romanticize the idea of the "last ever Smashing Pumpkins concert", but I feel like a lot of people are forgetting just home much the live Machina era sucked

If they had studio cuts of the Zwan tracks that didn't make MSOTS, I'd like to hear those as well.

someone asked on Instagram the other week and WPC gave some snarky answer and said he "could not be arsed" with it.

Pretty sure he is asking himself these questions on Insta, just so he can remonstrate about something he has read here.
