Of The Girl was the most prime example of the binaural recording. Yeah, to enjoy binaural you HAVE to listen to it through headphones otherwise you won't hear the effect. Another interesting fact was that not every instrument in every song was recorded binaurally. It may just be the drums or guitar. I can't really think of another clear example except for maybe Thin Air.

I can't remember offhand which tracks, but Tchad Blake didn't mix all of the tracks himself (our for that matter, binaurally). Brendan O'Brien mixed a number of tracks as well

Laugh it up, fuzzball.

That song is part of the reason I got into the band in the first place.

Eh... I can't think of a PJ song that has the polarizing effect that TCTOM seems to have in Pumpkins fans.

I think that's in part to them playing so much of their catalog live. Leash polarized fans, but moreso because either you wanted to hear it live or you didn't, not because it is or isn't a good song. When they finally played it this year, the debate pretty much stopped.

Nothingman
Spin the Black Circle
In My Tree
Black
Immortality
Corduroy
Not For You
Oceans
Hail Hail
Who You Are
+ Present Tense

it's when I was growing up. I haven't really followed since Yield/I stopped being an angry teenager.

Half of this list is covers, and many weren't even studio covers

I believe it has to do with both, but I know for a fact that any of the O'Brien mixes were not binaural.

Yeah, he asked for favorite covers/b sides/rarities, so I replied with those. Some are live-only, but so what?

If you want strictly studio PJ songs, then that list would be something like

Education
Sad
Man Of the Hour
Untitled (aka I'm Still Here)
Down
Alone
Hitchhiker
Let Me Sleep
Strangest Tribe
State of Love and Trust

Say, Mike, did I tell you that when I went to Amoeba Music in Hollywood that I found the '91 Xasm single there (you know, the rhino one) for a whopping $14.99? I snatched the fucker right up.
