NO.

how people can like this awful reprise of Blank Page with worse lyrics and hate a creative song like Because You Are is beyond me.

Um no. I think it pretty much sucks. Nothing happens and it's too long. I generally don't really care about lyrics in a song, and that's pretty much what he wants you to focus on.

Soot and stars is definetly a best "post adore" song. That sparrow and winterlong. I've always loved their music that is totally toned down, or just Billy (for why I wish he was solo right now)

Exclamation bad lyrics?????

what the hell bad lyrics???????????

"i often speak of you but the you is always me
cause when i speak of me it's me i ask of you
so let there be no truth just trickery in rhymes
time the only thing waiting still as death

i hope for resolution pray one defining moment
pause without restrain barren without child
a child is who i was a child is who i'll die "

those are some great lines.

I love that song. The piano sounds awesome and the echo effect is great. I love those stripped down songs too. That and Winterlong are my favs off Judas O.

and by the way I really like Because You Are too. It's just a bit rough.

I love it. A bit long, but still emotional.

its definitely my favorite on judas o. the only part i don't like is that bit about 'sirens, of greek mythology.' that is some weak ass shit.

but the strawberry wine part is awesome, and overall, its awesome i think!

it's classic pumpkins: overemotional, melodramatic, simple, lyrically but dead-on. i really feel this song. probably my fave on judas o when i forget that my mistake really is my fave.

one time when i was trying to park my car when i first got my license it was on & it seemed like years to park the car & make sure i didn't hit the pole divider. anyways after 5+ minutes of that song & trying to park the car i had to change songs.

but i do like it, i just don't want to hear it when i'm actually doing something.

THAT would make a great short film. I'm assuming it would be better than 'Try', which I still have no intention of ever watching

I could have gone through life never watching that video/short-film.

"hear the prairie sound
in a friend called neil
the heart is pointed down
but my spirit pointed up
his voice the siren
of greek mythology"

i think he is talking about neil cassidy (dean moriarty). one of corgan's favorite writers is kerouac, and it makes sense.

because you are is a cool song, i just wish it the quality wasn't so awful.

Soot And Stars, Because You Are, and Waiting are all great songs. I can understand the first two, but how anyone can not like Wating is beyond me.
