I have The classic recordings album which has some pentangle on there too.
Great stuff alright. Nottamun town is class and that cover of Mingus's goodby pork pie hat. Black Swan has Beth Orton on there which is really cool, plus great cover of the auld triangle. Now, about this whole "he's better than Dylan business"... |

Great guitarist, influenced lots of people. Didn't know those other folks were on the black swan. Cool. Class voice too in the Leonard Cohen "distinctive" bracket. Yeah, everyone should check him out.

kind of, it sounds still pretty far from happy if you ask me. bert jansch was apparently a big influence to nick drake
