Billy’s SD/MCIS guitars
I’m pretty fascinated with how billy decorated his guitars during this era (specifically bat strat, and black and red stars strat). The guitars look especially neat with how the paints have worn over time.
Does anyone out there know how he did this? It looks like he took a sunburst strat, spray painted it silver, then took a marker to the pick guard/pickups/controls? Seems like a dumb and messy thing to do, but that’s what it looks like. Any insight from fellow guitar nerds? |
