I swear to god about this, As I haven't bought any collectibles on EBAY or Amazon in my life.

I literally found those bags in an old decrepit pharmacy in a scuzzy part of Vancouver in 2003 (the bags are dated 1987!). They had Ghostbusters ones too.

I used to love just going around shit stores and buying the old merchandise. I also have an ALF coloring book that I bought at the same place. I'll take a picture later to prove that I'm not a "trolling"

My favorite room:

1. Security is top notch, I don't have to worry about strangers getting in
2. Besides there being only one window, it's kind of a sweet view of a grassy field and for 20 minutes per day I get some sunlight in.
3. It's all spotless white, which I appreciate.
4. I wear this nice pajama, that somewhat limits the arm movement. But once you get used to that it's no biggie.
5. Free meals at fixed intervals, like clockwork every day, can't complain about that!

I have a weird attachment to Alf. I don't even know why. I think it epitomises the short-lived History is Over; Nothing Left to do but Shop period of my life, before my Dad shattered all of my dreams and told me the cold universe had no organisation or ultimate truth and there was no such thing as unconditional love and if I didn't stop chewing gum and wearing jeans like James Dean no man would ever marry me. Then the sadness began.

I think that ear-worm crack theme tune was kind of like a lullaby I hung on to. Like, things couldn't be as bad as Dad says, because look at Alf. Nobody would make that show if all of life was meaningless. The fact that somebody's making Alf means that things must be ok.

So now that I've pushed two children out of my vagina and fed them for years at a time with my breasts, and still battle feelings of wanting to kill myself, if you get between me and one of the only simple and good things I've ever known in my life
