T_T well anyways
my babeh is going for her 4 month check up and round of shots tomorrow. Hooray parental torture! Actually for her two month shots she was very behaved (after we left the office) and slept it off with no real issues. Hoping for the same. I hate having to hold her down while they give her the injections though. Isn't that their job? She doesn't have to love/trust them!! |

Maybe it's to protect the nurses from angry moms after their fight or flight instinct kicks in upon hearing their infant screaming in the hands of another?

Man, these stickers were the best
http://dinosaurdracula.com/wp-conten...17/12/10-2.jpg They used to have those machines everywhere. I rarely see em around anymore. It's a shame. This person on the website shared this awesome story though... How cool is this?! "About the holofoil Simpsons stickers. The town I grew up was pretty small. The only thing we had that was worth mentioning was a super Walmart, which is now just called Walmart but back then they had the "super" sign out front. Anyway the Walmart is key here. One day in middle school my friend comes running up to me and pulls me into the bathroom. He looked crazy nervous and was sweating. He said "dude, I gotta show you something man." and pulled his backpack off. I immediately think he has drugs or something and start kind of freaking out. His backpack was absolutely bulging, so much so he could barely get the zipper to open again. Inside it was absolutely stuffed with those Stickers. His backpack had to have weighed 10lbs and he didn't have any books in there. Come to find out he was at Walmart and noticed that a vendor had left his key in the machine and my friend took the key. A week later he went back and just opened the machine and took everything out. A few weeks went by and I went over to his house to play Sega CD and he said "Hey check this out." and opened his dresser. The entire drawer was full of those stickers. He got busted a couple months later when he tried to open the machine and the Manager caught him. They let him off easy because he never thought to try and steal the quarters only the stickers. DIdn't even have to return the stickers either." |

A theft that benefited absolutely nobody.
How cool, indeed. |

Lol it actually reminds me of a tale from when I was a child. Word got out on the street that one of the quarter machines at the nearest grocery store had a defect. If you turned just right you could keep on turning and turning and turning getting shit loads of gumballs on one quarter.
Quarter machines were the bomb. It's odd that kids don't dig that shit anymore. It used to be a bunch of random crap with a few chaser items displayed on the card and it was really like a form of gambling in a lot of ways. |

One of the most common items I always got as a kid was a little handgun keychain that was actually authentically designed, but a little smaller than a house key.
I can't imagine kids getting stuff like that anymore. Different culture in those days. |

An online psychic told me this: "your Astral Chart was not harmonious on the day of your birth. Because the planetary configurations were so negative, you don’t have to look any farther for the reason why problems and persistent bad luck have been plaguing your life until now."
Oh gee, thank you so much |
