Pat Burrell, his lead feet and all, will probably always be one of my favorite players but holy crap, Raul Ibanez is making me not miss him as much. Defensively he's made some fantastic plays and tonight he hit the night's second grand slam. Unf. I can almost overlook his soul patch.

I will only agree to that if you do not post on the politics board anymore for similar reasons.

2008 NL OPS: .744
2008 AL OPS: .768 so i was right and i didn't even need to look it up first i'm sorry but "common wisdom" in baseball about this stuff is usually complete bullshit. Yes there's a slight advantage to AL hitters but it is not actually noticable. I mean .02? come on. 2008 NL Runs PG: 4.54 2008 AL Runs PG: 4.78 OMG 2 tenths of a point more runs!!!!!! PITCHERS BEWARE!!!!! LOLASL!!!! for a game as stats heavy as baseball is people tend to cling to ridiculous concepts--like the difference between run generation in the AL and NL are markedly different--pretty hard. He ran headfirst into the outfield wall at full speed trying to catch a ball. They took him off the field on a backboard. Haven't heard anything about him yet but it just looked horrible.

I don't understand why my fantasy team is struggling so badly this year.
I have a very good team, much better than the 10 teams ahead of me in the standings right now, and I just can't figure it out. I've won this league 3 years in a row, last year I didn't lose a head2head match AT ALL in the first half of the season. This year I've lost every single week. Part of my problem is Scott Kazmir and Brett Myers sucking it up really hard EVERY outing, but still I don't get what the deal is. |

I wish Swisher's shot didn't go foul.
Would've been such a great win. |

Did you see strike 2 on Cano? It was about a foot outside.
Not to mention the fact that Hughes was getting squeezed and Lester was getting half a foot off the sides... even the ESPN guys said it (well not O'Brien, because of his allegiance) |

Paps struck out Tex twice though. The umpiring was all over the fucking place.
I can look past some of the dancing or whatever. It's the way the guys must be wired; I don't think they're doing it to show anyone up for the most part. It's annoying as fuck and stupid though. Every team now has an idiot who does that. |

That classy Joba dancing on the mound in the 4th and 5th inning tonight. And laughs when he hits Bay on purpose.
And IS GETTING STRIKE CALLS SEVEN INCHES OFF THE PLATE. I wish he'd die in a DUI accident. Stupid son of a meth addict. |

Give up 4 runs in 5 innings, have gift strikes for the last three and throw at Bay? Yeah, DANCE on the fucking mound. And bitching all game about not getting some curves called strikes that are clearly out of the zone down and away? I can't wait until he gets a liner off his scalp. |
