my father doesnt just talk to people. He interviews them. Its true though. I notice it too. Even during a casual conversation he will just wear a person down with questions. He does this in the politest way possible but its still difficult to watch. It's very awkward sometimes just being around him while he does that.

Its admirable in a way because hes obviously a people person. But then its also like enough is enough. Too many constant questions.

i tend to do the same thing too, or at least want to, especially if conversation may be lacking. I figure people like talking about themselves anyways.

My mother tells me stories about my grandfather. She said that he was so introverted that sometimes he would excuse himself from the room during a conversation. My mom and I are somewhat introverted too but not to that degree.
