A song about Target Individualism:
It all started here on , so I guess it begins to get finished here as well:

Doing an endorsement for Target sounds awfully lucrative.
Congratulations, Meegman. |

He might not say it at all.
Let's not go jumping to conclusions, eh. |

Sounds killer man! The vocals on this one kind of remind me of a mix between Layne Staley and Ozzy.
You gotta give the full band treatment to some of these tracks man. Some sludging drums to go with it would sound devastating |

Hey man, just started reading through the first few pages of The Land of win thread. Was "The Land Of win" a title that you made up yourself? If so, It would be kind of curious that Billy would decide to call his album that after the curious events that had taken place.
It could be more likely though that someone from Netphoria was reading your posts and then hacking your account and sending you that 70 message just to fuck with you and that it had nothing to do with Billy. |

Interesting crab. It's plausible this T.I. story won't be fully understood until around 2112 or so. When I first came upon the term and meaning of the Noosphere, I used it in a lyric for the song Wizard of Oz. More accurately, the term chose me for that because of all the songs I've written, that's the one I can't really claim on my own. It came down whole in an instance and took twenty minutes to finish in real time. Haven't had one like that before or since. It fit the moment for my brothers wedding, so in lieu of a speech as best man, as a surprise, I did the song. 2 1/2 years later as the band Cancel is living in L.A. and getting offered blood contracts from major label headhunters that we kicked to the side, my brother and his wife have their first child on my birthday. That's when the God-head Universal Source reflected to me music wasn't that golden carrot I was chasing and almost got a hold of, it was that little moment at the wedding...and for that, you'll have a yearly reminder of what magic of music is truly all about. Something about vibrations of the heart resonating frequencies that reach the Noosphere... |

I'm still reading the thread. I'm actually at this message here from Slunken which pretty much sums up my thoughts so far:
"not to be a party pooper but don't you think it would be more reasonable to assume that the emails were sent by a fellow boarder? Esp back in the day when "rhyme & riddle" was the way of life in SP land. Hell, maybe T&T sent them and everyone at the time thought he was Billy or someone connected to the band placed there on purpose. i'm not doubting the fact that there was a Rush connection and that Billy spoke of Y2K. He was a known lurker and also Y2K was on everyone's mind. I'm just not seeing the thread that would make anyone automatically assume the emails came from B. Just playing devil's advocate. Enjoying your tale." But the title of that thread: The Land of Win, what was that a reference from? Is that just what you were calling the happenings? If so, it would be rather curious that Corgan would call his album The Land of Maybe |

The Rush stuff is pretty crazy though. Especially with Jimmy mentioning on air about getting the book from you.
Definitely quite the happenings |

TOC, not done reading your thread yet, kinda multi-tasking.
But you mention getting an e-mail seemingly sent from yourself with just a number inside? That's happened to me before too. I'd get emails from my own address. It was some kind of popular virus that was going on at the time. I'd also get it from people on my friends or whatever too who didn't send it and it would just be gibberish or some shit inside. |

Interesting thread and definitely a few oddities, But I really think you're reading too much into this man.
As someone mentioned, you guys are probably just like-minded folk, and Billy mentioning the Y2K thing and all that was likely nothing more than a coincidence |

Now the fact that he would name his solo album so close to your poem and thread, that's certainly the oddest part of all. |
