It feels really weird reading that people are going to be seeing the Pumpkins in a thread like this

white stripes and osheaga (pumpkins/interpol/explosions in the sky)

there is slightly larger than slight chance that i will see aeromsith on p.e.i. just to party and camp with friends. if that is the case i will be so drunk that i won't remember it anyway. fuck i hate aerosmith.

7/8 - Dave Matthews Band
7/15 - Pitchfork Festival
7/26 - The Format

All I've got at the moment. Moving close to New Orleans in August, so I'll probably start going to a lot more (good) shows then.

Oh man. Band of Horses played at a teeny coffeeshop in my hometown like a year and a half ago or something. They were sooo good, but after the show they all acted like jerks so on principle we didn't buy their CD Then Chris downloaded it and we listen to it all the time

haha, awesome story.

i saw them last year and they seemed like cool dudes. but i got a speeding ticket on the way home. somehow, "driving home after seeing a band of horses" really doesn't garner any sympathy.

eh, they weren't great live. i mean, it was fun, the noisettes were good, but BP just doesn't translate that well live.

not off this album, when i saw them off silent alarm they were great. it's weird, i had a dream about that album and the next day i went out and bought it. i was so pumped for their new album, and i just can't get into it.

and i can't believe the noisette's are still on tour with them. The kills and the noisettes opened for them and man that drummer is sooo huge and he has such a small kit, it's hilarious.

for some reason, during the concert, i was thinking that silent alarm is a very cold record, and witc is a very warm record.

take that as you will.

Bonnaroo...the day after tomorrow.

Then Sage & Buck 65 in July. Asylum Street Spankers in November. That's all I got right now I think. Tool at the Sears Center maybe.

I think I hate you. But only out of jealousy.

Battles - 6/30
Sunn O))) - 7/3
Smashing Pumpkins - 7/18
Sonic Youth (doing Daydream Nation) - 7/20

I really want to go to Rock the Bells
