With all of Paul's strengths that Poots mentions, he could easily drift away into aimless whimsy and disposal schlock when left to his own devices. He needed someone like John to keep him grounded.

The same goes for John though, who needed a Paul too as basically a shit-detector.

Never checked them out. Should I? Always thought live and let die was kinda lame, at least in parts.

am i the only one in love with early beatles? I like all their albums but beatles for sale has some super mellifluous shit. words of love comes to mind.

I fucken love hard day's nite even the instrumentals

I know I'm not supposed to, but I do

Only problem is I learned it from a badly pressed copy spun a cent or three too slow on an ancient sears turntable, so when I hear any of it on the radio it gives me panic b/c too fast too crystalline

I saw her standing there is infectious.

Can't we all just get along?

And playing yesterday on the guitar is second only to playing sometimes. those chords... ah yes. yes indeed!

I've heard somewhere that hardcore beatles fans revere the white album most of all, simply cos its got the most songs during their mature phase. such a great album. i used to be ina godawful band once and we covered happines/so tired. we sucked but those songs kill. happines is guitar fun 4 shure.

i wouldn't call myself a hardcore fan but i think revolver and the white album are easily the top 2 and sgt peppers is great but overrated.
