I've spent a large portion of my free time this month watching Rick and Morty because I had never seen any of it. It's not what I thought it was going to be. =/

I'm sure it's probably an okay show, but I've kinda stayed away from it because everybody who has told me that it's amazing and that I must watch it has been Reddit: The Person.

Like, they literally consume Soylent and only buy Apple products and stuff.

It's definitely just okay...I thought it was going to be a little more science-driven, so that's disappointing. But there's noticeable character development, which is contrived but kinda feel-good. And for sure the fanbase has a terrible reputation, but the hype has died down so it's easier to tune out that type of noise and just enjoy it without interference. I often watch shows post-popularity for that reason. Or maybe I'm just slow to care.

I liked the Witcher. Dracula was ridiculous in the third episode but I still liked it. I can see why others wouldn't though. I think it should have been a longer series.
