I should be a troll? HAHAHAHAHa
Honestly - I really thinks this is billy´s best Output since machina 2. I really dig zowie, mandarynne, archer, half life and Long good bye, i can listen to spaniards and aeronaut without skipping, but i really don´t like antietam (horrible melody - reminds me of wildflowers shit) and i don´t like shiloh , but at least shiloh might grow on me ohh the strings are too louds, or ui and honsetly lots of Reviews are really positive and for those living in the 90s - take it or leave it, but please stop whining on every vocal or ui the singing style changed so much - again, corgan wants to sing like this - so take it or leave it |

Gotta confess I bought this album. It has some good tracks.
Throwing Corgan some funds for his legal team to sort the Machina reissue. |

This is really bad, because it sends the wrong message to Corgan, and the next album if there is one will carry on this nonsense and sound exactly like Ogigaga II.

Billy was live on Billboard Facebook yesterday and mentioned he is planing to go back to the studio this November to record a new album.
Ogilala is a very solid album by the way. Last edited by Forgotten Child : 10-14-2017 at 09:04 AM. |

Idk... Monuments didn't sell and we got Titicaca which by comparison makes Monuments look like a masterpiece so I'm not sure if there's a way to send the 'right' msg to Billy.

I find it interesting that an album such as Monuments which is almost universally hated by fans has an average score of 70 out of 100 on Metacritic, which indicates "generally favorable reviews". There are a lot of politics when it comes to reviews... If you look through Metacritic very few publishers will actually print negative reviews, partially due to record label pressure but also due to losing out on respect from a given artist. Billy's a known crybaby, and if a publisher printed a negative review then he would boycott the publisher and not give exclusive goodies like interviews and first takes and things like that. I think the only album critics that are remotely real are Pitchfork and maybe The Needle Drop... though Anthony Fantano seems to just be giving anything rock related a '6' these days and he recently kinda renigged on his negative review of the Foo Fighters' Wasting Light album while reviewing the recent Concrete and Gold album so he seems a little lost himself these days. |

Yes it's a Double-LP. Same content, but with 45 speed. For less groove noise. The audiophile version, available only in the U.K., the mecca of sad vinyl freaks...

I would recommend getting the 2xLP. I picked up the standard edition and the last song on each side is slightly distorted (otherwise it sounds amazing).

I've chipped in to the Machina fund, as well.
I've been thinking lately I should get around to finally printing up my own MII booklet, except of course I've been thinking that off and on for nearly twenty years and never got around to it. IIRC most of the artwork from ognetty's booklets had wrong lyrics. |

LOL @ these tools thinking they're somehow contributing to a Machina II reissue fund.

'I like this album'...'Machina reissue fund'...'Chicago album fund'...whatever you wanna call it...if Billy considers this album to be successful, he'll be motivated.
